DECISIONS 10507 and 10508 (PECB)

Issue: Whether the representation petitions should be dismissed as untimely.

Both petitions are dismissed because the union seeks to represent employees who were included in the bargaining unit disclaimed by the union less than one year ago. WAC 391-25-450 prohibits that union from seeking to be certified in the bargaining unit for a period of at least one year if the disclaimer is filed after the issuance of a notice of election.
