DECISION 10447 (PECB)

Issue: Whether bargaining rights should be transferred where a majority of employees voted to merge IAFF, Local 3889 into IAFF, Local 1052.

The Executive Director grants the request for an amended certification in the absence of any objection from the employer and documentation from the petitioner showing that a majority of the employees voted in favor of the merger.
