DECISION 10023 (CCOL)
Issues: Francis Hatstat filed separate complaints against the Bellevue Community College Association of Higher Education (union) and the Association’s executive board (union council). The allegations concerned internal union elections to which Hatstat took exception.
The Commission does not have jurisdiction over union elections. In addition, there was no basis for a separate claim against the union council. A deficiency notice was issued for both cases. Hatstat did not file an amended complaint against the union council, but did file one against the union. The amended complaint reasserted the claim involving union elections. The complaint and the amended complaint were dismissed.
