Recent Commission Action on Rule Making Petitions

On August 11, 2009, the Commission acted upon two rule-making petitions filed by Eric Nordlof on behalf of Public School Employees of Washington.

The Commission instructed staff to initiate the Chapter 34.05 RCW rule-making process and explore the possibility of amending WAC 391-25-030 to clarify that the contract and certifications bars do not apply to petitions filed under WAC 391-25-440.

The Commission declined to explore adopting amendments to WAC 391-35-356.
