Welcome to the Public Employment Relations Commission. We are an agency of the State of Washington. We provide impartial resolution of labor-management disputes.

The Commission is composed of three citizen members who are appointed by the Governor for their expertise in labor-management relations. The Commission members serve on a part-time basis. They adopt agency policies and rules, and they decide appeals from decisions issued by PERC staff members. The commissioners are:

Douglas G. Mooney of Seattle, Commissioner

The Executive Director is appointed by the Commission and is the full-time agency head. The Executive Director has been delegated authority to make substantive decisions in several areas. The Executive Director is:
